What are your hopes and goals for 2023?  Do you believe in New Year Resolutions? Most things people resolve to do in a new year are good and worthwhile. It is a good thing to eat healthier and exercise more. Spiritually speaking, the most common New Year’s resolutions are to read the Bible more, go to church or to be more faithful in sharing the gospel.  Some folks will resolve to be a better neighbor or to be more involved in caring for others!

Russ Hobbs Ministries is going to look at the book of Ecclesiastes this January!  Why?  Ecclesiastes, like much of life, represents a journey from one point to another. Solomon articulated his starting point early in the book by saying all is vanity which is another way of saying; life doesn’t make sense some-times, indicating the utter futility and meaninglessness of life.  Have you ever felt that way?  The great truth of Ecclesiastes lies in the acknowledgment of God’s ever-present hand on our lives. Even when injustice and uncertainty threaten to overwhelm us, we can trust Him.

Plan to join us January 8th,2023, 6PM at the Mount Hope United Christian Church 206 Cider Press Rd.
